FRIEND'S LINKS

the THIRD BAND  My therapeutic endeavor is this band. I get to play guitar again and live my third childhood. Donni Bennett on bass, Bruce Trice on drums with Dr. Joe Valenti on keyboards (also our band dentist)

Bruce Trice bought the assets of our live sound service "division" in 2006 and continues to provide live event sound.

Our friend Bonnie Parham's audio production company. Recording services, live sound, Karaoke at down to earth prices!

Morrisound Recording
Tampa's serious recording studio. Jim and Tom Morris started the studio in 1981 and have churned out lotsa hit records. You can be next.

Arch Deal
Tampa veteran anchorman/newscaster/skydiver Arch Deal!

the Third Band listed here again in case you missed us up above!

the Plan
"Tampa Bay's Modern Rock Band". OK, in our business we work with a lot of bands, and they aren't all listed here. But this is a start!

Captain Russ Shirley
Old guitar players never die- they just float away. Charter Russ's boat, but make sure you talk him into bringing a guitar with him.

I've known Russ for about 30 years, since his early "local guitar slinger" days, when I was working at local music stores. He's played guitar with the Turtles, Karla DeVito (no relation to Danny that I'm aware of), Anton Fig, Ellen Foley and lotsa others you can read about on his website!

USEFUL LINKS:

Holothink Totally Tranquil  This is the audio that I keep in my iPod and listen to when I need to get stuff done and am under a lotta stress. It definitely helps keep me calm and more focused. Yup- it actually works, and there's a free downloadable demo on this link.

Holothink Laser Focus   I use this audio when I really need to get stuff done. Doesn't matter if I'm up late or if it's mid-day. I stay focused and alert. Pretty inexpensive, all things considered. Highly recommended.

USELESS LINKS:

Home Run
Too weird to explain....

Useless.com
Possibly even more weird.

FOOD AND DRINK LINKS:

Forget that coffee brand that uses its own language... this is the official coffee of Donovan Audio Designs.

Really good coffee- cool company- great, fast service. A lot of great "American Roast" coffees flavored, unflavored and organic available. We've never gotten anything burnt or bitter from them, so we haven't had to bury the coffee in "toppings" like you would a sundae. I'm having a cup of "Chocolate Mint" as I type.

Dagoba Chocolate
Endangered Species Chocolate Company
Chocolate is fun food, and dark chocolate is good for you. Contrary to Godiva, Scharffenberger, and Ghirardelli, good chocolate needn't be pretentious or snooty! You don't need to go to a boutique to buy it. You can get Dagoba or Endangered Species Chocolate at your healthfood store, supermarket or online. It's even more fun than arguing over 30 different shades of white paint with 9 other members of your church committee! Believe me... been there.

UNUSUAL LINKS:

the Journal of Mundane Behavior
If this is not mundane enough, try the Portuguese translation of it

The Gallery of Regrettable Food
Decisions, decisions... should this page be under useless links or unusual links? We'll settle for unusual for the time being. At least til I'm done making deletions off of my grocery shopping list.
